To enjoy living and exploring Alaska you need the right gear. You can’t order it from Southern California. This is NOMAR’s niche; we listen to our customers; then design and construct the right stuff. If you’re looking for well-designed clothing made from the best available American-Made fabrics, you’ve landed on the right site.
NOMAR’S GALE FORCE line features the high-tech laminated fabric, POLARTEC WINDBLOC from Malden Mills. This product has the look of warm fleece. But deep in it’s laminated construction is a membrane that stops the wind and repels rain, yet allows your inner heat to vent so you stay dry and warm. NOMAR uses only WINDBLOC fabric in the Gale Force line to make beautiful jackets and accessories that will keep you warm and dry in the strongest of storms.
NOMAR Brand uses two weights of WINDPRO, 20 oz heavy weight for the Sockeye and Grizzly Jacket and Caribou Vest. The remainder of the clothing styles are constructed with the 13 oz weight.
