The Hitch was designed by and for hard working folks that pack one bag and head off to work for a "hitch"- a two to six week work commitment in some far flung location. Inside it's a durable water-resistant shell you'll easily fit work necessities such as steel toed boots, heavy gloves, helmets, warm arctic gear, and perhaps a note or two from loved ones back home. 

The Hitch can be worn as a comfortable backpack for a long walk to the airport complete with waist belt and padded shoulder straps. Or tuck the waist belt in and carry it over your shoulder with the included 2" adjustable shoulder strap. For a quick move from the baggage carousel to the pickup, grab it by the backpack straps that double as regular handles. 

We know that you won't always fill the bag so we included several heavy duty compression straps to keep the bulk down. There's even a special compression strap pair that keep the bag from bumping your hard hat when worn in backpack mode with a full load.
